Blogging is an Art, oh come on stop it. That must be the thought straight away pop up in your mind when I start this post as such. But no other go, I should do it and as you accepted it as a Blogger. It is quite tough to maintain consistency in Blogging. It is one of the toughest jobs in the world even though we like it and love it so much.
Because it’s just the hands and mind of our body that keeps on working. As we get so many distractions easily when we sit in front of the computer that has Internet, it is just to go with some good practices to make sure the Blogging happens as we want to and the Learning and Earning part goes perfectly in the Track without any problem.
So what are the things that you should consider to maintain the Consistency in Blogging? As I said before, blogging is more than a Cabin Job that we do in MNC’s. It requires Passion, Self Motivation, Hunger towards Learning new things every day and more observation.
If you think learning means, you can straight away add some blogger as a friend on Facebook and start filling his message box with questions related to Blogging, forget it. It’s you, and only you who is going to take all the steps to learn about the niche you have chosen and about blogging very much.
You cannot simply knock on someone’s door asking help. If you are not Good at Observing and Self Learning, then Blogging is not for you. Sorry for the Blunt Delivery but I must say this to make you understand that you are the King, Queen, Soldier in your Kingdom.
When people around you are with the same taste and thoughts, you will love it for sure. To create such environment by organizing a bloggers meet or attend the scheduled meets by some groups who arrange such.
Make sure it doesn’t end up like a marketing meet up and do verify it before recommending such events to your friends and fellow bloggers. Ideas born when we Discuss ! so get a chance or create a chance to discuss more with like-minded people and get more ideas.
In Front of Computer
If you are not sure what to do after your work done, then make sure you have turned off the computer and away from it. Don’t try to entertain yourself much with the computer and work as well.
This is one worst practice I have ever seen among new bloggers where they easily get bored sitting in front of the system and that reflects in their number of the post being published after some months of blogging.
So don’t hook up with your system all the time and spend time with people around you (family, friends) to make sure the Computer is the best place for you to Learn and Earn.
Do Paper Work
Many successful bloggers I have seen are doing more paperwork than simply staring at the monitor. So use Paper and Pen to sketch some plans, to cover up some important points to write a title and that will really help to bring the post as a great masterpiece at the end. Even its a great relaxation for your Eyes as well.
Don’t change your blog design often, but make sure the design that you are using is the one that you love to see your texts on. Try to customize it often and make it unique as much as you can to feel the design.
You don’t have to stick to the blogging, programming, networking kind of categories when it comes to books. Choose the one to get inspired and enjoy reading it. Buy more books and avoid ebooks.
Seriously, you should not simply stick to the monitor or tablet all the time while reading something that you like to spend more time with. The time you read books will help you to get strong with word choices, phrases, and much more improvements will happen with your writing skill. And one of the best way to generate consistency.
Shopping is Fun
Go to Malls, Bookstores than simply using Flipkart and other online services to choose your favorite books to read. Shopping is fun and learns to control yourself than getting addicted. Using eBay and Flipkart is addictive for many. So use it less but don’t miss the collections and offers they give on Books especially.
I think I have covered somehow important lines to help you maintain consistency in blogging. Keep on writing up great contents and have a great time with Blogging. Thanks for reading and please do share this post on your Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
